Dave Prowse: Darth Vader Actor Dies Aged 85

Dave Prowse agent, Thomas Bowington said, he died after a short illness. According to CNN, Prowse is said to have been receiving treatment for prostate cancer in 2018.

Thomas Bovington chose his Twitter to handle to announce the death of his client. He said, “It’s with great regret and heart-wrenching sadness for us and millions of fans around the world, to announce that our client DAVE PROWSE M.B.E has passed away at the age of 85.”

Thomas Bovington, Speaking to the BBC, expresses his last words for him. He said, “May the force be with him.”

“He added that “though famous for playing many monsters, for myself, and all who know Dave and worked with him, he was a heroin our lives.”

Mark Hamill, who played Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars movies, said he was “so sad” to hear the news.

“He was a kind man and much more than Darth Vader,” Hamill said on Twitter. “He loved his fans as much as they loved him.”
