WWE to organize 5k Fun Run this WrestleMania weekend

WWE has announced that it will be organizing a 5k Fun Run, in order to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Following are the details regarding the Fun Run:

• Venue: Tampa Bay
• Date: Saturday, April 4, 2020
• Time: 7:30 AM (Local Time)

The Wrestlemania 5k Fun Run will begin on Channelside Drive in Downtown Tampa Bay. In Addition, it has been reported that various WWE superstars will be making special appearances. However, there are no strict guidelines regarding the participants, who can enter the race. WWE has further announced that the race is open to both competitive, as well as casual runners.

The runners have to go through a registration procedure. They will need to visit www.wrestlemaniatampabay5k.com and complete the registration procedure in order to become a participant in the race. Additionally, participants are requested and encouraged to dress like WWE superstars of their choice, or just like their favorite WWE superstars.

WWE has also made a provision to award best-dressed participants, where the top 3 best-dressed participants will be awarded Championship titles. In addition to that, finisher medals will also be awarded in a post-race ceremony, which will be hosted by WWE superstars itself.

WWE is organizing the Fun Race during their WrestleMania week. The race is an attempt to provide benefits to the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. However, it will also serve as a promotion for WWE, in order to increase their sales before the WrestleMania event. There are a number of items that WWE is offering and looking forward to selling in order to make WrestleMania a great success again this year.

WWE has managed to bring some of its famous WWE superstars in the race for publicity. However, WWE has neither announced nor made it clear that which WWE superstars will be making an appearance in the Fun Race. However, WWE fans can still expect to see some of the most popular WWE superstars currently, such as Roman Reigns, John Cena, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, Cesaro, etc. (All the names are just guesses, and there is still not confirmed report on this). Also, WWE Fun Race is being promoted with a poster featuring R-Truth, so fans can always expect to see their favorite R-Truth in the race.

Who knows that WWE fans might be lucky to see a mini 24X7 championship match at the Fun Race because organizing such a match before or after the Fun Race is something very interesting and entertaining that WWE can do during their WrestleMania week. It is well-known that WrestleMania week is one of the highest potentially money earning weeks in the entire year for WWE. Hence, fans must never be shocked if they get to see R-Truth fighting and defending his 24X7 championship (if he is lucky enough to be the champion during the race).

• Date and Time: Friday April 3 (1p.m – 7p.m)

However, fans can also pick up the same at Amalie Arena ticket office on Saturday, April 4 at 6 a.m.
