The US States Are on High Alert for Armed Protest Amid Inauguration

The US States, including the District of Columbia, has employed the National Guard troops’ service to avoid the re-occurrence of the previous week’s unhealthy riots.

US President-Elect Joe Biden is set to overturn several of Donald Trump’s key policies.

The US media reportedly got sight of a memo. The memo explained that Mr. Joe Biden is set to undertake a bunch of executive development that is purposely scheduled to gesture a clear end from Mr. Trump’s administration, which will be active a few hours after the inauguration.

The actions include:

• The US state will return to the Paris Climate agreement – a global pact on cutting carbon emissions. 

• The questionable travel ban on countries that contain mostly the Muslim majority countries will be abolished.

Washington DC will witness heavy lockdown of most of its places as inauguration comes into view on Wednesday, with thousands of the National Guard troops been deployed to the States Capitol.

The Secret Service, the security agency charged with protecting the President, has gotten the National Mall shut down on their suggestion. 

– The Hall is always filled with thousands of people for inauguration.

Americans were implored to avert traveling to the US state capital for the inauguration with the main reason resting heavily in the Covid-19 pandemic – telling the public to watch the occasion remotely.

Sunday is predicted to be a specific day for likely unhealthy protests after numerous social media posts on pro-Trump requested armed rallies on that day.

The Preparations of Some US States

Several US states are active in taking strong measures that include boarding up capitol windows to declining grant permits for rallies.

Some of the US state governors like Maryland, New Mexico. Utah announces a state of emergency amid likely unhealthy protests at their congresses, while US states like California, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin are among those activating their National Guards. Texas will shut its state capitol from Saturday until after inauguration day.
