Vic Henley was an American Stand-up comedian born in Alabama, US.
He was memorable for his appearances on the “Opie and Anthony radio show.
The 57-year-old comedian had told his fans on several interviews that his dream was to be a stockbroker, which he was very determined about before starting comedy. This dream was due to his victory in a comedy contest he participated in, at a night club. His success made him give up his former goal of becoming a stockbroker, to being a comedian.

Vic was a talented comedian, and his zeal towards comedy made him co-author of few books with national bestselling book fellow comedian Jeff Foxworthy.
The Stand-up comedian did not restrict himself to stand-up comedy or co-author of books but has also performed in several channels on TV series and as an actor for his comedy. Vic was well-known around the United States; he was a comedian, an actor, a TV host, and an author.
However, Vic Hensley’s niece, Tatum Singley, announced his death earlier this week on her Facebook page.
According to her, she said, “This afternoon, on April 6, Uncle Vic went to be with the Lord. He suffered from a pulmonary embolism over the weekend, and after many efforts to save him, the angels came and took him home.”
“The world loves Vic for the smile and laughter he brought to us all”, she added. “We already miss him so much and feel the heavyweight of loss.”
She later added that the memorial would be delayed until further notice due to the coronavirus.
The stand-up comedian who was nominated eight times for “Comedian of the year” shows how talented he was and the efforts he has put into his career.
The official twitter account for the OpieRadio tweeted in memories of Vic Henley after the news broke out.
Numb. R I P @VicHenley A great comic. Loved doing radio with him but loved even more our friendship. The long hilarious knowledgeable phone calls. The long walks home after doing the radio show ending in the middle of Central Park where I would turn left and he right. (Cont) pic.twitter.com/kLiXaojhyu
