It seems once again things have not turned in Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Favor. It has been reported that Judge Paul Engelmayer has denied 6ix9ine’s request to finish his 24 months sentence at home. In addition, the Judge has also turned down Tekashi’s request to move to a community correctional facility as an alternative. The rapper’s lawyer argued his life is currently in danger, due to testimony provided against his ex-gang members.
Judge Engelmsyer made it clear, 6ix9ine’s sentence is meant to “reflect on the seriousness of his crimes”.
Tekashi 6ix9ine whose real name is Daniel Hernandez has been in prison since November of 2018. 6ix9ine has plead guilty to an array of charges including but not limited to racketeering, armed robbery and drug dealing.
The 23-year-old rapper, was initially looking at a minimum of 47 years for his involvement in various crimes. Due to the testimony provided 6ix9ine’s sentence was reduced to 24 months of which he has already completed 14 months.
Dawn Florlo has made it clear he has every intention of appealing the verdict. It is said with good behavior Tekashi could possibly be released by the end of summer.
Not long after reports Jade 6ix9ine’s girl friend took to social media to vent her frustrations at the legal system and Tekashi’s critics.
“If you snitch, for the rest of your life people are gonna try kill you for being a rat…but if you don’t snitch, you’re doing 47 years in prison where they’re gonna kill you anyway because they were already talking about it”
She goes on to say “Sammy the Bull kills 19 people and gets 5 years. You kill no one and gets 2 years. This shit is so fucked up.”
