If there’s money to be made, Scott Disick is on it. The 36-year-old entrepreneur and “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” face wasted no time in getting his Talentless clothing line to include merch surrounding the Coronavirus – COVID-19 doesn’t appear in name on the clothing, but the message is all about the virus currently sweeping the globe.
Scott marked the newly-released merch on his social media, also enlisting the help of 24-year-old supermodel Kendall Jenner and her mom Kris for the promo.
The merch is pretty simple. “PLEASE WASH YOUR HANDS” is the message – the same is being dished out by experts in the effort to contain the virus that was just this week confirmed a pandemic by the World Health Organization.
Scott’s promo photo showed him standing in front of a faucet and washing his hands under running water. The dad of three was modeling the $129 men’s hoodie in light gray – black lettering spelling out the “PLEASE WASH YOUR HANDS” logo was seen on the back.
“You can thank the LORD & @talentless later, and for the love of god just WASH YOUR HANDS,” Disick captioned his photo.
The snap currently sits at over 323,000 likes over on Scott’s Instagram. While responses mostly proved positive, Scott was dubbed as “capitalizing” on COVID-19 by Page Six. A few followers also raised eyebrows at the idea of Scott cashing in on a pandemic that has already claimed over 4,000 lives.
“Really, lol”, one fan wrote. “When you have a mental breakdown but still gotta fight off Corona,” another added.
Scott isn’t the only celebrity to have marked Coronavirus on social media. Singer Miley Cyrus recently appeared in a “cleaning day” video posted by boyfriend Cody Simpson – the 27-year-old has been forced to cancel her Australia Bushfire Relief concert due to the virus. Meanwhile, masks (deemed unhelpful by experts) have been worn by actress Gwyneth Paltrow and model Jordyn Woods as well as supermodel Naomi Campbell.
Scott’s merch includes men’s and women’s hoodies, tees, and sweats. The 2019-founded brand saw Kim Kardashian’s grandma Mary Jo query the Talentless name, but the company seems to have taken off.
Kendall, meanwhile, has been spotted out and about in Los Angeles since returning from her European Fashion Week appearances. Her snap with Kris proved popular – fans were literally saying they’re about to fill up their carts.
President Donald Trump dedicated his latest Tweet to the virus.
The Media should view this as a time of unity and strength. We have a common enemy, actually, an enemy of the World, the CoronaVirus. We must beat it as quickly and safely as possible. There is nothing more important to me than the life & safety of the United States!
