Lori Harvey is facing backlash over a video that seemingly showed the 23-year-old model’s secret to her sensational waistline. Lori, recently in the news for her split from rapper Future, has been ramping up promo for slimming brand PureLeef as she influences for her 2.3 million followers. The Pretty Little Thing face, who recently admitted she wanted to keep her curves in all the right places, now sees one of her posts going viral on popular Instagram account The Shade Room.

The video came as your standard promo. It showed the stepdaughter to Steve Harvey flaunting her rock-hard abs in a skimpy sports bra and matching pair of leggings, with Lori walking her fans through both PureLeef’s gel and its waist-slimmer.

A caption from The Shade Room confirmed the post to be an ad, reading:

#AD — Yes! Lori Harvey has always had an amazing body. But just like the rest of us, she experiences bloating, fullness and just not always as disciplined as we would like to be. That’s where @pureleef ‘s heated waist burner comes in… paired with our waist shaping gel to:

Lori now sees an immense wave of backlash manifesting as a result. Fans aren’t digging the weight-loss products or the fact that a celebrity is endorsing them.

“Ten years from now this gonna be on a commercial saying if you of a loved one used it in 2020 we may be entitled to compensation,” a popular comment read.

“If you’re rich stop selling people ineffective harmful cheap products,” another added, with a third user even implying that Lori has had surgery.

“She had surgery (nothing wrong with that) but there’s something vile about selling these products knowing your body looks like that because of other work you’ve had done 😒.”

Lori, who has not admitted to cosmetic surgery, was also frowned upon by users seeming to think the model thought they were stupid.

Backlash amid celebrities promoting weight-loss products is nothing new. Reality star and mom of one, Khloe Kardashian, has faced immense criticism for her continued promors for Flat Tummy Co. Negativity even seemed to force the Good American founder to delete one of her promos, although she has since returned to front the brand. Also critiqued for similar reasons have been “Teen Mom 2” star Leah Messer, Khloe’s sisters Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, plus “Jersey Shore” face Snooki.

Lori had already mentioned PureLeef on her Instagram. In late August, a workout shot showing the model’s killer muscles came captioned:

@mstischh told me to start using @pureleef products so I started with the waist shaping gel and now I’m using the butt & body plumping cream! I’ve been in the gym working on this quarantine weight and I’m not trying to lose my curves 😩 she told me this cream helps to maintain weight in the “right places.” Thanks,” she wrote.
