
Rapper Lil Wayne, whose real initials go by Dwayne Carter, entered the plea in Miami federal court, in relevance to a press update from the US attorney’s office for the Southern District of Florida.
It was reported that CNN has reached out to his attorney but hasn’t got any response or information from him.
Lil Wayne, the 38 years old prolific rapper was apprehended in December 2019 immediately after he arrived on a flight from California at the Opa Locka Executive Airport.

Police also discover what was concluded to be cocaine, marijuana, ecstasy, heroin, painkillers, and more than $25,000 in cash, the newspaper said.
The officials spoke with the rapper, who revealed that he carries a gun in his bag, officials release the statement on Friday.
Lil Wayne lawyers noted in November when the charge was announced that the rapper did not use the firearm.
Attorney Howard systemic said that “The charge is that because he was convicted of a felony in the past, he is prohibited from possessing a firearm.”
A final sentencing hearing is planned and scheduled for January 28, 2021.
Ronald Richards, One of the several attorneys for Lil Wayne, said in November “The federal sentencing guidelines call for substantially lower, and I would not look at the maximum exposure to decides anyone’s sentence and all the facts need to be thoroughly reviewed.”
The rapper pleaded guilty in October 2009 to a felony gun charge as part of the deal with New York prosecutors. The charge arose from his arrest in 2007, Outside of New York city’s Beacon Theater in which a 40-caliber pistol was discovered in his tour bus.
Lil Wayne served for 8month before being released after he was sentenced to a year in prison. It was reported at the time that his attorney said the gun is not for Lil Wayne and it belongs to someone else, nevertheless Lil Wayne accepted a plea agreement which was followed by the sentence mentioned above.
According to the federal constitution, Convicted Prisoners are restricted from having guns.
Lil Wayne, having pleaded guilty to federal firearm, awaits final sentencing scheduled for January 28, 2021.
