Kim Kardashian Honors Janet Jackson On Her Birthday- Bought Her Astonishing Jacket For $25K

“It’s a thrill to be a fan amongst fans.” American sensation Kim Kardashian came up with a heartfelt gesture on Janet Jackson’s 55th birthday. Kim purchased her aesthetic jacket that she styled in the ‘If’ music video, 1993. She purchased it in an auction called Iconic Treasures from the Legendary Career and Life of Janet Jackson.

Kim Kardashian posted an Instagram story of a clip of Janet wearing the ensemble, wrote “Happy Birthday queen” and added: 

“For @janetjackson’s bday bc I’m such a fan I can’t believe I won this on juliens_auctions.”  

Jackson reposted Kim’s story on her official account by replying   

“Thank u so much @kimkardashian! I hope ‘IF’ gives u as much pleasure as it did me,”   

She also added three kissing face emojis, which is a pretty cute gesture. 

More About Janet’s Event 

The auction was a three-day event organized to cherish the birthday of Janet Jackson. The auction house informed that a custom-made cropped suede top with artificial bone detailing and a pair of black lace-up front pants had sold for $25,000. Janet had announced the sales of her belongings in a recent video. This is what she said: 

“Can’t believe this will be the last time I’ll see some of these items, but it’s for a good cause,”  

Janet said this very emotionally. This is a very noble initiative taken for the welfare and enhancement of socially deprived children. According to the reports, a portion of the proceeds of these sales will be donated to a non-profit organization. 

The name of the NGO is Compassion International. This NGO works for the enrichment of needy children and promotes humanity and sympathy at the global level.

It was once worn by the legendary dancer Michael Jackson. She also purchased a white fedora Michael wore in his music video “Smooth Criminal”, 1988. It seems like Kim is a die-hard fan of the Jackson family as she has an amazing collection of their items with her.
