Kamala Harris flew into El Paso on Friday
Kamala Harris visited the nation’s southern border due to the political pressure that is being mounted on the White House by the increasing migrant crisis.
In El Paso, TX, Kamala Harris implores the populace to put an end to finger-pointing. The number of undocumented migrants that are recorded at the border this year has beaten the figures of recent years.
The trip to the immigration facilities was made on Friday and Ms. Harris met with a girl migrant aged(9-16) in a space that’s close to the border.
“They were asking me questions: ‘How do you become the first woman vice-president?'” Ms. Harris said. “It also reminds me of the fact that this issue cannot be reduced to a political issue. We’re talking about children, we’re talking about families, we are talking about suffering.”
Ms. Harris also requested an end to political finger-pointing and infighting. She also emphasized that; “It is here in El Paso that the previous administration’s child separation policy was unveiled,” in a connection to Mr. Trump’s splitting up of migrant families.
Some individuals publicize that the vice-president should have visited the tent complex that is near to Fort Bliss, the place that houses the migrated children.

Kamala Harris’ motorcade met a group of pro-Trump protesters with waving flags. One of the protesters held a sign that read: “How many little girls need to be raped for this to be a crisis?”
The Vice President made no comment on her critics about the US-Mexico border until recently that she said ignoring such a trip as a grand gesture.
Her visit was announced after ex-president Donald Trump revealed that he’s going to the border on the 25th of June.
Kamala Harris refuted the claim that her visit is based on the announcement of Donald Trump, nonetheless, it was known that her announcement is unexpected by the White House media since they are often consulted a week before such a trip for proper planning.
“I said back in March I was going to come to the border, so this is not a new plan,” the vice-president told reporters after landing in Texas on Friday.
She also encountered criticism from Republicans such as Texas Senator Ted Cruz, who considered her visit as “a glorified photo-op”. But she was also upbraided by a fellow Democrat, congressman Henry Cuellar, whose constituency straddles part of the southern border.
“The administration is making Democrats look weak,” he told the Associated Press news agency. “I’ve heard, from Democrats and Republicans in my area, what the heck is going on with this administration?”
