Currently, India is one of the few countries to possess a safe and successful COVID-19 vaccine in the entire world. The nation has already donated countless vaccines to several nations including Bhutan, Nepal, Brazil, etc. While it’s still negotiating with other countries regarding the same. The giveaways are taking place under their global vaccine policy. In this, several nations are in the pipeline for the COVID-19 vaccine giveaways.

Latest COVID-19 Vaccine Giveaway

According to the latest sources, India is set to donate around 10 million COVID-19 vaccine doses to Africa. In addition to that, another set of 1 million vaccines to the UN health workers. The doses giveaway is taking place under GAVI (Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization). India, under its facilities, is aiming to achieve equitable distribution of these vaccines, and accelerate their development (and manufacturing).

Furthermore, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs has officially declared, that it’ll gift even more COVID-19 vaccines to the nations as follows:

Conclusion

With this COVID-19 vaccine giveaway program, India has managed to secure improved friendship with several nations. This will definitely help it in the long-term. India expects the same from the countries with whom it is dealing on a commercial basis. The world is definitely going to remember the generous efforts made by the nation in this pandemic situation. So far, no serious cases of vaccines’ side-effects have been noted. This is the main reason why several nations have developed a trust and faith in Indian medicine and that’s the reason why they are looking forward to procuring them (either commercially or in the form of gift).
