
US ‘Black Lives Matter’ protests caused by George Floyd’s death have gone global, where protesters are demanding equal rights among the whites and blacks, and condemning racism all over the world.
The protests started from Minneapolis, where George Floyd was killed and have progressed to other countries, such as the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Poland, Ireland, South Africa, Israel, Italy, Canada, Sudan, Germany, Netherland, and lot more cities.
His death sparked a wave of protests against racial discrimination and police brutality against blacks in America and cities across the world.
The United Kingdom
Regardless of the restrictions of mass gatherings due to coronavirus response, thousands of protesters gathered in the United Kingdom in solidarity of ‘Black Live Matters.’
Protesters were seen with signs “Black live matters,” “Enough is enough,” “Justice for George Floyd.”
“I can’t breathe” and “No justice, no peace,” they chanted while protesting.
Protesters were seen in different locations across the United Kingdom. London to Victoria Station, Manchester, Cardiff, US Embassy, etc
John Boyega of “Star Wars” fame led the protest in London’s Hype Park, assuring black people “We have always meant something.”
NEW ZEALAND
Thousands of people join the on-going protest in New Zealand marching to the US Embassy in Auckland, chanting in solidarity to ‘Black lives matter.’
CANADA
According to CBC News, protesters were seen in Toronto, Canada in honour of Korchinski-Paquet, a black woman who fell from her balcony and died as the police were investigating a domestic incident at her building.

FRANCE
In France, the crowd gathered to call for protest in honor of Adama Traore, a black man who was tackled and subdued by police officers, and he gasped “I can’t breathe” before he died.

ITALY
With signs that show, “Stop killing black people,” “I can’t breathe,” and “Say his name,” protesters were in the US Embassy in Milan in solidarity of “Black lives matter.”

THE NETHERLANDS
Activist Naomie Pieter leads the protests leading thousands of people filled Dam Square in Amsterdam to join other protesters of George Floyd, and she called out from a stage, “Black women’s lives, black trans lives, black disabled lives,” and protesters chanted, “Matter!”.
DENMARK
A peaceful march in solidarity with other George Floyd protesters and awareness to shun police brutality was held from the US Embassy to the Danish Parliament building.
