Emmy Awards 2020: The Leading Nominations

Emmy awards being part of the four major American entertainment awards have announced its nominations on Tuesday in a virtual ceremony in Los Angeles. Others awards being, the Grammy( for music), the Oscar ( for movies), and the Tony(for theatre).

Despite the pandemic, the 72nd Emmy awards will be aired on September 20 which be hosted by ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel in a virtual edition.

Emmy Awards recognize excellence in the American television industry. The award events include two ceremonies, which are; Primetime Emmy Awards and Daytime Emmy Awards which honours the outstanding performances of American entertainments programming.

Emmy awards events also include the honouring of national sports programming, national news and documentary shows and technological and engineering achievements in television.

 Here, Fameaside will put through the nominees competing for the most significant awards in US television. The winners will be revealed on September 20 during the virtual ceremony.
