Covid-19: White House Criticizes ‘Chaotic’ Vaccine Rollout

Ron Klain, the chief of staff of the President Joe Biden administration, expresses that the federal government is devoid of plans to circulate the Covid-19 vaccine across the US.

President Joe Biden announces his plan to vaccinate 100 million Americans in his first 100 days in office a few days before his inauguration last Wednesday.

Covid-19 reported cases in the United States now exceed the 25 million mark, with 417,500 deaths related to the virus. Covid-linked deaths in the United States have been observed to have been surpassing 4,000 in some days starting a few weeks ago.

President Joe Biden put to paper a raft of new measures last week, which encompassing increasing Covid-19 vaccinations and testing.

He also appeals to Americans to put on their face masks to stay safe amidst the Covid-19 pandemic and notify them that the death toll could escalate and get scarier.

“Let me be clear – things will continue to get worse before they get better,” President Joe said.

In addition to his words, he expatiates that though it was a complicated process, but the Biden government will create federal vaccination sites to help states without sufficient sites.

Covid Tracking Project revealed that the number of infections got hiked in recent months, with a significant leap in the recorded figures after Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Hospitals across the United States reported their highest figures of Covid-19 during the early days of this month, but there has been a noticeable decrease in the reported daily cases.

One of the highly-rated infectious disease experts in the US, Dr. Anthony Fauci, asserted on Thursday that “the rolling data appeared to show Covid-19 infections leveling off”.
