Britney Spears isn’t quite as equipped as she used to be. The 38-year-old pop princess is currently fronting media outlets for her latest Instagram announcement – the “Toxic” singer straight-up admitted to “burning” her gym to the ground today, letting her fans know that a fire she caused had seen her workout space completely incinerated.
The killer body hadn’t gone anywhere, though. Britney clocked herself 1.4 million views in three hours for dropping a sizzling series of workouts in the tiniest wardrobe ever – the blonde was flaunting her rock-hard abs and gym-honed legs in rolled-down patterned shorts and a spandex sports bra as she offered a sneak peek into her home regimen.
The video opened with Britney rocking a messy bun, her sports bra, and shorts as she said: “Hi guys, I’m in my gym right now and I haven’t been in here for like six months because I burned my gym down.”
A caption shared more as the blonde wrote:
“It was an accident ….”
But yes …. I burnt it down 🙈. I walked past the door to the gym and flames 🔥🔥🔥🔥 BOOM !!!!!! By the Grace of God the alarm 🚨 went off after that and yippy hoorah nobody got hurt 🙏🏼. Unfortunately now I have only two pieces of equipment left lol and a one-sided mirror gym 🙄🙄🙄 !!!!! But it could be much worse so I’m grateful. Pssss I like working out better outside anyways 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸 !!!!
Instagram didn’t ignore this update. Britney’s fans, who have been expressing concern for her mental health lately, were quick to fill the comments section.
“I’m so sorry that happened, but the way u said it killed me,” one fan wrote.
“Hahaha queen of burning down a gym with 2 candles,” another said – the “queen” moniker is the absolute standard on Britney’s Instagram.
Updates were multiple from Britney on Wednesday, though. Following the workout video, Britney returned to show off her ripped body in a tiny floral-patterned crop top with the trademark bedhair look nowhere to be seen – the bombshell had returned, also delivering a caption that got fruity.
“I have oranges, lemons, berries, and rosemary on my shirt …… what more can I ask for 🤓🤓🤓🤓 ??????” she wrote.
Britney’s social media has been packed amid COVID-19. The star wound up fronting media outlets for being dubbed “Comrade Britney” after calling for a re-distribution of wealth amid the global pandemic, having already made headlines for offering to pay for food and diapers – “DM me,” the singer said as she offered her followers some charity during a time she called “horrific.”
Concerns for Britney have, however, continued. A series of repetitive images showing the singer shot against a red backdrop sparked concern for her bipolar disorder over March and April – Britney remains under the conservatorship of her father Jamie Spears and has been under the control since 2008, with reports now seeing the grip on the singer extended until at least August amid coronavirus. For many, however, Britney’s videos have been showing her healthy and happy, particularly those featuring Iranian personal trainer boyfriend Sam Asghari.
