Protesters clashed with police and threw fireworks into the crowd
Bristol city Police were encountering violent opposition from desperate protesters who threw fireworks at them. Though administrators advised strongly against attending, the demonstration still witnesses thousand of attendance.
There are records of officers that suffer a broken bone, and a countable number of police vans were set on fire as violent protesters storm Bristol city center.
The main purpose of the gathering ‘kill the Bill’ is to lend a voice against the police and Crime Bill.
The protesters committed several atrocities as they scaled a police station, threw fireworks into the crowd, and daubed graffiti on the walls.

In Priti Patel’s word, the Home secretary, the incidence is “unacceptable.”
“Thuggery and disorder by a minority will never be tolerated,” she said. “Our police officers put themselves in harm’s way to protect us all.”
Avon and Somerset Police described the start “as a peaceful protest” had been “turned by a small minority into a violent disorder.”
“Two police vehicles were set on fire, the damage was caused to a police station, one officer suffered a broken arm, and another suffered broken ribs,” the force added.
Earlier that night, the mood was lively but not to the aggression stage, and there’s no sign of predictable violence.
Broken glass was seen across the road, and quite a number climbed on top of traffic lights, but police find it rather unnecessary to interrupt.
The thick crowd at some point show signs of wavering, with people moving away to get back to drinking and listen to music.
After that, the atmosphere becomes tenser, and things are getting a little bit heated.
Riot police were employed, and in their full protective gear, they formed a barricade at the front of the station. They remain still without interfering with the business of the protesters.
They stood by as their shields and vans were daubed with graffiti – some of it profane and some of it hostile towards the police themselves and Home Secretary Priti Patel.
Then the atmosphere took a marked turn when the first police vehicle was set on fire. Huge plumes of black smoke rose from Bridewell Street.
Some protesters deemed it fit to jump onto the second police van’s roof, destroying the glass at the officers who tried to reverse.
Demonstrators were throwing dangerous objects into the crowd, yet the Bristol riot fixed to their positions.
Bristol city police announce that perpetrators would be “identified and brought to justice.”
