He explained further that there was a ” good chance” that the one-meter or more social distancing regulation will be discarded by June 21.

Boris Johnson said that all the conclusion about shifting the stance of the rule is based on the standings of the data.

One thousand six hundred forty-nine new cases were recorded on Monday by the England Public Health with a single death over 28 days of a positive test in the United Kingdom.

It’s noticeable that the reported number of daily deaths is mostly lower on bank holidays and weekends, which may be due to the holds in reporting.

Across the United Kingdom, Fifty million doses of the covid-19 vaccine have been dispensed, according to Matt Hancock, United Kingdom Health Secretary.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson made his speech due to a group of MPs, who implore the government to maintain the traveling rules beyond the middle of ay.

This group claim that arrival halls in the airport are capable of turning to a “breeding ground ” of the virus.

The all-party parliamentary group on Covid -19 contains over 60 MPs and peers; they urge the government to dissuade people from traveling abroad unless it is necessary.

There is a current ban on foreign holidays, and a traffic light system is scheduled to be introduced soon with countries indexed as green, amber, or red.

Those who travel to green countries will not isolate on their return, but they will undergo a covid test.

Amber country’s arrivals will be under quarantine, while the red countries”’ arrivals will be placed under the strictest rules and will undergo quarantine in a government quarantine hotel.

“But I do think that it’s important to be cautious in this,” he said.

“We do want to do some opening up on 17 May, but I don’t think the people of this country want to see an influx of disease from anywhere else.

“I certainly don’t, and we have got to be very, very tough and have got to be as cautious as we can while we continue to open up.”

Boris Johnson explained after been asked about holidays on a visit to Teesside, Hartlepool, and said experts were currently evaluating which countries were safe.
