Mr. Biden, the US president, has implored the United States Congress to pass gun law reforms, which include a ban on assault weapons.
This statement was publicized on Sunday, which marked the third anniversary of the Parkland school shooting in Florida.
“All across our nation, parents, spouses, children, siblings, and friends have known the pain of losing a loved one to gun violence,” President Biden said.

He also called for a total ban on assault weapons. “We owe it to all those we’ve lost and to all those left behind to grieve to make a change,” Mr. Biden said. “The time to act is now.”
In this light, the House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, released a related statement. She said that the legislative house would look back to the background check legislation currently on a pause when the gun law preservative and Republican former president Donald Trump is in office.
“Now, working with the Democratic Senate and Biden-Harris Administration, we will enact these and other life-saving bills and deliver the progress that the Parkland community and the American people deserve and demand,” she said.
CNN has made moves to inquire about how the White House will constitute Biden’s dissertation on gun law reforms.
Some Democrats in Congress are more confident that gun safety reforms are within reach for the first time in more than two decades. The Democrats are expected to get at least 10 Republicans on their side of the gun law reform is going to be feasible.
“Now, working with the Democratic Senate and Biden-Harris Administration, we will enact these and other life-saving bills and deliver the progress that the Parkland community and the American people deserve and demand,” Pelosi, said in a statement.
