August Alsina Confirms Relationship With Jada Pinkett Smith

August Alsina confirms that Will Smith gave him his approval to have a relationship with the actor’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.

August Alsina is a singer-songwriter from New Orleans, Louisiana, America. He is best known for his single “I LUV This Shit” with Trinidad James.

In an interview with Angela Yee that aired on Tuesday (June 30), August opened up about the rumored relationship swirling since last year with Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.

August revealed the American actor approved the relationship and suggested he stayed with his wife after being introduced to her by her son, Jaden, in 2015 while they were in London. In 2016, August went on vacation with Smith’s family to Hawaii, where he grew close to Jada. They both attended the BET Awards and walked the red carpet together in 2017.

 “I sat down with Will and had a conversation due to the transformation from their marriage to a life partnership that they’ve spoken on several times — not involving romanticism — he gave me his blessing, and I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life,” said Alsina. “And I truly and really, really deeply loved and have a ton of love for her [Jada]. I devoted myself to it. I gave my whole self to it. So much so to the point that I can die right now and be okay with knowing that i true gave myself to somebody. I really loved a person…some people never get that in this lifetime,” Alsina said during the interview.

However, Jada’s representative denounced the singer’s claim, saying it was “absolutely not true!!!”

Will Smith’s representatives have told The Sun that the accusations are “wrong”.

Besides the Smiths, Alsina talks about his new album, The Product III: State of Emergency, health struggles, and losing his sister to cancer.

Moreover, after the rumor of the affair went viral, Will Smith’s daughter, Willow Smith, shared a cryptic post online.
